Benefits are available to Saskatchewan teachers from a variety of sources. In addition to the plans and programs administered by the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation, benefits may be available through your employing school boards, as well as various arms of the federal and provincial governments.

For the most part, teacher benefits are negotiated through the provincial collective bargaining process. However, some teacher benefits may be negotiated at the local level.

Eligibility for coverage does not mean automatic coverage. An Enrolment Form must be completed and signed by your school board(s) each time you sign a permanent, replacement or temporary contract of employment to enroll in the pension and group benefit programs. If your personal information, contract status or dependent information changes, please complete an Information Change Form.
