Special Subject Councils
The general purpose of subject councils is to provide opportunities for the professional development of their members. Special subject councils have been established in a variety of subject fields, service areas and interdisciplinary groups. The 32 councils that are affiliated with the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation have approximately 7,000 memberships in total. Many special subject councils offer beginning teachers a complimentary one-year membership.
