Federation Focus
The Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation Federation Focus newsletter was launched in September 2008 to replace the Provincial Report as the primary means to communicate information to Federation members about their professional organization.
Federation Focus is distributed to all T-mail account holders on the third Wednesday of each month during the school year. Federation Focus contains a message from the General Secretary, provincial and national news on issues, events and activities related to administration of Federation programs, services and governance structures. It includes opportunities for teachers to get involved in their professional organization, such as calls for volunteers to sit on committees and boards, employment opportunities, and calls for nominations for awards. It also includes listings of upcoming events, resources and communications related to professional development opportunities for teachers who are involved in their professional organization, such as the Local Association Leadership Program events, as well as upcoming board and committee meeting dates
