The STF

The Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation (STF) is the professional organization representing over 12,000 teachers in publicly funded schools in Saskatchewan.

Guiding the Federation’s work is the fundamental belief that teachers want to provide the best possible educational opportunities for Saskatchewan students. Teachers are firmly committed to the principles of lifelong learning, professional growth and the improvement of education. They also believe that public and private sector institutions, as well as individual citizens, share responsibility to provide the resources that will support students' learning opportunities and teachers’ work.

The STF takes an active, critical and constructive role to identify and strengthen these resources and contribute to the overall direction of the public funded education system.
