School Staff Liaisons
STF school staff liaisons provide a vital communications link between Federation members and the local and provincial levels of their professional organization. Liaison efforts are focused on ensuring that each school staff takes the time to learn about the Federation and the issues that it is facing on behalf of teachers, both locally and provincially.
While some STF school staff liaisons may also serve as staff representatives or in other positions in the local association or provincial organization, in their roles as a liaison they do not represent or speak for their school. However, they may actively assist the local association and the provincial organization in gathering and sharing the views of members to inform Federation decisions and actions.
