SPDU

The Saskatchewan Professional Development Unit (SPDU) develops and delivers professional growth programs, resources and materials.

SPDU is contracted regularly by the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation, teachers and other education partners for workshops on a wide variety of topics such as:

  • unit writing
  • collaborative learning communities
  • student assessment and evaluation
  • instructional strategies
  • diversity and equity issues
  • conflict resolution
  • Cognitive Coaching
  • strategic review and planning
  • classroom management
  • professional growth planning
  • leadership for school-based administrators
