Group Session Support – Council

The Federation is requesting expressions of interest from superannuated members who would like to serve as a recorder or chairperson for group sessions at the 2019 Annual Meeting of Council. Council is a key component of the governance model of the Federation. Individuals are required to be present at the Council location on May 2 (evening orientation) and May 3 (all day), 2019. Potential candidates must have experience as a member of Council and must live in Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities:

Chairperson - Acts as an impartial facilitator for group sessions who ensures that the established procedures for the debate and decision about each resolution during the small group sessions are followed.
Recorder - Has a responsibility to act as a reliable scribe who ensures votes are recorded at each group session and reported to Council administration.

Selected individuals will receive a per diem and are eligible for travel reimbursement as per the Federation’s travel reimbursement policy. In addition, each individual, along with a guest, is invited to attend the Arbos Reception and dinner on Friday, May 3, 2019.
