REGINA – Through a gift to the Friends of the Royal Saskatchewan Museum, the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation is proud to support the expansion of the Elder in Residence Program. Through the Federation’s sponsorship, the Traditional Knowledge Keepers Program will help connect Elders and Knowledge Keepers with the community. The programs will be available to school groups and the public.

SASKATOON – This week the Teachers’ Bargaining Committee provided detailed rationale on its proposals, and the Government-Trustee Bargaining Committee presented its proposal package and some rationale. While discussions were respectful and productive, the Government-Trustee proposals did not address classroom size and composition, a key issue for teachers.
