Connecting Kids With Nature

This course is for teachers and educators who want to take their kids outside. You will have an opportunity to adapt curriculum in any subject/grade for outdoor learning. You will participate in sensory activities you can take back to your classroom to try with your students. You will listen to teachings from First Nations Elders and build connections with other educators. In the evening we will explore the night sky and learn about the stars. You will also have an opportunity to go zip-lining, canoeing and hiking. The three-day-two-night workshop will include meals, a camping spot, curriculum connected activities and lots of fun. Space is limited, so please register early.

Participants will:

Payment must accompany registration. The refund deadline for all workshops and events is 10 business days prior to the start date. Registrants who withdraw prior to the refund deadline are entitled to a full refund or transfer of their registration fee.
