Council Resolutions Study Session 2 (Services, Programs and Teachers’ Collective Bargaining)
Registration Deadline: March 15, 2021
Want to learn more about the resolutions and notices of motion councillors will be discussing at this year’s 88th Annual Meeting of Council? Register for an upcoming Council Resolutions Study Session.
Council Resolutions Study Sessions are open to all members and optional to councillors. By exploring resolutions and notices of motion, you will be able to hear the perspectives of your colleagues and gain greater clarity about the resolutions and notices of motion councillors are being asked to discuss and debate at the Annual Meeting of Council. The second session will provide an opportunity to examine and discuss all of the resolutions that are related to programs, services and teachers’ collective bargaining. If time allows additional resolutions that are of interest will be discussed. This will also be an opportunity for participants to have questions answered regarding the role of councillors and the governance of the Federation.
Sessions are being offered via Zoom webinar. All sessions will occur from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. To ensure registration for your preferred session, please register by March 15.
Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email directly from Zoom. If you have not received a confirmation email prior to your session, please check your spam or junk folder before contacting the Federation.
To prepare, please visit Preparing for a Zoom Meeting or Webinar and follow the instructions. The Resolutions and Notices of Motion Information booklet will be posted online later in March and will be mailed out prior to your session. Please review the booklet before your session. Come prepared to ask questions and to discuss the resolutions that most interest you.
