National Holodomor Awareness Week: Workshop About Free e-Lessons for Teachers

This online workshop will introduce teachers to two free resources to help teach students about the Holodomor. These lessons are ready to use and are classroom-ready. The Voices Into Action lesson, Exposing the Ukrainian Holodomor: How Starvation Was Used as a Political Weapon is designed for grades 9-12 students. The Holodomor Education and Awareness Committee lesson, How a Grain of Wheat Linked Two Worlds has been designed for Grade three and integrates outcomes from health, science, and social studies.

Audience: Grades 3-4, 7-12
