Perspective Making: Lessons Learned and Moving Forward – J. Kevin Cameron
Join us for a conversation with Kevin Cameron to continue our discussion on pandemic leadership through a trauma-informed lens. Pandemic leadership certainly continues to teach us many lessons and through all we have learned, we must also focus on “perspective making.” This academic year does not need to carry with it the same weight as the early pandemic because we now have a collectively lived experience. We also have a growing societal understanding of the effects of trauma including residential schools, systemic racism, and polarization. How we see these things as professionals and leaders of young learners will have a more profound influence on students now than it will when we educate during low anxiety times.
