SPEA Conference 2019 Celebrating Diversity

The Saskatchewan Physical Education Association (SPEA) is committed to supporting teachers of Physical Education throughout the province in their implementation of curriculum and will be hosting our annual conference in Saskatoon on May 9-10, 2019.  The conference title is Celebrating Diversity and will be structured highlighting diversity in the way of Global Games, LGBQT, Mental Health and Cultural Games.

Audience:
 K-12 physical education teachers or anyone with a keen interest in health and physical activity.

     We are pleased to have Mickey Jutras from Saskatoon providing our Keynote Address at our breakfast.  Mickey has been an administrator in various schools in the Saskatoon Public School Division and will be sharing his experiences and PH D work focusing on leading Indigenous education as a non-Indigenous leader.  You will attend 7 sessions over 2 days.  Sessions listed at:

Registration Fee:

Two day registration fee is $300.00 plus a $25.00 SPEA Membership Fee - all meals, sessions and t shirt.

One day registration fee is $200.00 plus a $25.00 SPEA Membership Fee - all meals, sessions and t shirt.

Student two day registration is $115.00 - all meals, sessions and t shirt.

Special Student Registration Fee is $15.00 - no meals, sessions and t shirt only.

Earlybird deadline date is April 25, 2019 or a $50.00 late fee will be applied.
