STFPL - Here to Support You

First Five Years

Teaching is incredibly important work that takes time, effort, and continuous learning. To survive and thrive in the profession, teachers need access to supports that facilitate effective and efficient planning and teaching practices. The STF Professional Learning webinar, Here to Support You, informs participants of the many valuable teacher supports you can access through the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation.

The STF Professional Learning team provides resources, along with a wide range of Saskatchewan-focused professional learning opportunities, that are delivered by Saskatchewan educational leaders who know and understand the curricula, and your communities and schools.

In addition, the Emma Stewart Resource Centre provides immense value to teachers in every corner of the province. You can access classroom materials that support planning for effective teaching and learning in an efficient, targeted, and personalized way.

By attending, participants will:

  • Review curricular and teaching resources available, including how to access in-person and online resources.
  • Explore the many services available through the ESRC (including FREE access to curricular resources that can be delivered directly to your home community).
  • Examine the STFPL catalogue and calendar of professional learning opportunities, including how to register for both online and in-person events.

This Zoom webinar is facilitated by Connie Molnar, Associate Director, STFPL. It is open to all teachers in the first five years of their new teaching career. Feel free to share with colleagues who may be interested. Once registered a confirmation email will be provided via Zoom.
