STFPL - Supporting You Through Your Assessment Cycles

First Five Years

The Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation has many resources and learning opportunities to support you through the first years of your teaching journey. Join the STF Professional Learning webinar, Supporting You Through Your Assessment Cycles, to examine teacher and student roles in each step of the assessment cycle to support student progress, growth and relationship building. In this webinar, we will explore the triangulation of data for balanced assessment and processes for goal-setting conversations with learners and families through three-way conferencing.

By attending, participants will:

  • Examine the roles of teacher and student throughout the assessment cycle.
  • Explore a balanced collection of evidence of learning through triangulation of data.
  • Experience processes for goal-setting conversations when conferring with students and families.

This interactive session will help you feel more confident and prepared in your role, which is especially helpful as you near end of term and prepare for parent/student conferences.

This Zoom webinar is facilitated by Connie Molnar, Associate Director, STFPL. It is open to all teachers in the first five years of their new teaching career. Feel free to share with colleagues who may be interested. Once registered a confirmation email will be provided via Zoom.
