Teacher Professionalism, Your Rights and Responsibilities

First Five Years

Being a teacher and a member of the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation comes with many professional responsibilities, rights and benefits. As a new teacher, do you know yours?

This webinar is for teachers in their first five years and explores professional standards of conduct and competence to support your personal and professional development. Through thought-provoking scenarios and discussion, participants will learn about:

  • Programs and services available,
  • Professionalism, in and out of the workplace, including social media and other digital communications, and
  • How the Federation can support you through collective bargaining, certification/registration, teacher education programs and other terms of condition and employment.
