Why You Should Care About Bargaining: A Conversation with Teachers in Their First Five Years

First Five Years

As the Federation prepares for provincial collective bargaining in 2023, we want to hear from teachers in your first five years to learn more about your teaching experiences, concerns and ways that the Federation can help advocate on your behalf.

The Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation is hosting the Why You Should Care About Bargaining webinar to help you understand the process and why it’s important.

By attending, participants will:

  • Receive an overview of the collective bargaining process, links to current agreements and more.
  • Learn about the difference between local and provincial bargaining and who to connect with to share your questions, concerns and classroom perspectives.
  • Discuss ways the Federation can best support your interests through bargaining.

To familiarize yourself, please visit Collective Bargaining on the STF website and come prepared with any additional questions you may have.
