This process provides a framework to support learners in assessing their level of understanding and application of processes, skills, or strategies.
- Given processes, skills or strategies that are important for learner success and independence, invite learners to reflect on their understanding and application of each using the following coding:
- N – new to me
- K – knew about
- A – apply when I remember
- I – integrated into my learning/what I do
- Follow this reflection with goal-setting conversations with students.
