Fischer, Gregory. 1995. This unit is designed to teach attitudes, feelings, and decision making to young people without teaching sexual development. It is based on the assumption that students have already been exposed to a unit on human sexuality and concentrates on the feelings and responsibilities that the students encounter in their constantly changing roles in society. The activities that are presented follow the philosophy of the health action model. This unit offers teachers an opportunity to obtain material to teach concepts that could be considered difficult. In that the subject can be considered controversial, teachers are advised to read the unit over carefully and to consult the administration before teaching it. 43 p.
