Collective Bargaining

Teachers are asking for a new provincial collective agreement that addresses violence in the classroom, large class sizes, lack of supports for students and compensation. After nine bargaining meetings and a failed conciliation process, Government is still refusing to bargain on critical issues impacting Saskatchewan students. Due to Government's continued intransigence, on January 11, 2024 the STF announced its intention to implement sanctions.
