The Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation is looking for members to join our Complaints Panel. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the professional self-regulation and collective interests processes of the Federation.
As a member of the Complaints Panel, you will:
- Serve on the Professional Complaints Committee, the Ethics and Practice Committee and/or the Collective Interests Committee.
- Contribute to maintaining high expectations of professional ethics, standards of practice and collective interests.
- Represent diverse geographic and demographic backgrounds.
- Gain valuable experience and develop leadership skills.
Appointments shall be made at the 2026 Annual Meeting of Council upon the recommendation of the STF Executive and adoption of a resolution by Council.
Term and Eligibility
- Term: Three years, with the possibility of renewal for one additional term.
- Eligibility:
- Must be a member in good standing with the STF as per Bylaw 1.1.5.
- Cannot be a member of the STF Executive.
- Cannot be a member of the Board of Directors, or any committee of the Saskatchewan Professional Teachers Regulatory Board.
- Must complete a Complaints Panel application.
- Must complete an Applicant Declaration of Eligibility form.

Additional Information
As per Clause 12.3.2 of the 2023-2026 Provincial Collective Bargaining Agreement, teachers serving on STF committees will be granted leave without loss of salary and benefits for any days required to fulfil their duties.
The STF encourages all members to participate in our organizational operations. Preference will be given to those not currently holding other positions, but all members are welcome to apply for multiple openings.
