Presidents’ Forum Planning Committee

Three local association presidents required – one-year term, renewable

Committee members shall be local association presidents who are not currently members of the STF Executive.

As members of the Presidents’ Forum Planning Committee, three local association presidents will work with Federation staff to plan STF meetings for local association presidents giving consideration to the issues, trends and challenges affecting local associations and the provincial organization. This contribution in planning the events helps to ensure the voice of local associations is represented in the planning of local supports.

Collaboration will occur via emails and meetings (online and in person).

As per Clause 12.3.2 of the 2023-2026 Provincial Collective Bargaining Agreement, teachers serving on STF committees will be granted leave without loss of salary and benefits for any days required to fulfil their duties.

The STF encourages all members to participate in our organizational operations. Preference will be given to those not currently holding other positions, but all members are welcome to apply for multiple openings.
