Making the Switch to GSC: What to Do and What to Expect

On January 1, 2023, you’ll need to start submitting your health and dental claims to GSC (learn more at our GSC landing page). You should be receiving a Welcome Kit in your email inbox—that includes your GSC ID number and GSC everywhere registration information—soon. Once you get it, there are a few things you should do:

1. Ensure your personal and dependant information is correct.

Review all the personal, spousal and dependent information in the Welcome Kit. If anything is inaccurate, visit MySTF to update.

(We are aware of an issue with some Welcome Kits not displaying dependant information. These members are still able to register their GSC everywhere account now, and will have a revised version of the Welcome Kit sent to them after December 21st that displays their dependant information. You can always check MySTF to make sure your dependant information is listed properly.)

2. Register your GSC everywhere account.

Grab your GSC ID number from the PDF attached to the email and follow the instructions.  It only takes a few minutes, so do it right away so you don’t forget. (Note: Some services in GSC everywhere, like claim submissions, will not be available until January 1.)

3. Download the GSC everywhere app.

Once you have an account, download the GSC everywhere app so you’ll be able to manage your benefits on the go as soon as we make the switch. It’s available for Apple and Android devices. This app allows you to submit claims, store your digital ID card, access GSC services and tools, check your coverage and eligibility, and monitor your claim status. And you’ll be able to do that starting January 1 for both health AND dental benefits, and with only one GSC ID number.

4. Set up direct deposit

You don’t need to wait until January 1 to get direct deposit set up. Once you’ve registered for your GSC everywhere account, you can add in your banking information right away.

If you do not receive your Welcome Package by December 23, call GSC at 1-888-711-1119.  GSC will verify your email address and re-issue your Welcome Package, within 72 hours.
