Inspiring Success: Educators Doing the Important Work of Treaty Education
This workshop explores how Treaty relationships and Indigenous knowledge systems can transform educational practices. Drawing on the insights of the award-winning Saskatchewan research project, Educators Doing the Deep Unsettling Work of Treaty Education, participants are invited to explore the relational work occurring within the South East Cornerstone School Division. They will also engage with the foundational principles of the Ministry of Education’s policy goals.
Learning Outcomes:
- Make connections between the Inspiring Success policy framework and Indigenous Education Responsibility Framework, linking these policies to actionable strategies for Treaty Education.
- Deepen understanding of what it means to be a Treaty partner and explore ways to build authentic, reciprocal relationships with Indigenous communities.

Refund Policy: The refund deadline for workshops is 5 business days prior to the start date. Refunds for Asynchronous courses will not be provided once online course materials are accessed. Registrants who withdraw prior to the refund deadline are entitled to a full refund or transfer of their registration fee. Refunds are provided to the registrant or the organization that submitted payment.
If notification of withdrawal is received after the refund deadline and up to the commencement of the session, 50 percent of the registration fee will be refunded.
Cancellation Policy: Occasionally, due to circumstances beyond our control, a workshop may be cancelled. We will notify you by email using the address provided at registration. To ensure you receive any updates, please check your email regularly during the 48 hours leading up to the workshop start date.
If a cancellation occurs, a full refund will be issued to the registrant or the organization that paid the registration fee.
