Abstract:

Welcome to the Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation. We are excited to see you set foot on your professional journey. As a new teacher, it’s natural to feel overwhelmed in the beginning as you navigate the myriad of responsibilities and demands that come with the profession. Fortunately, you won’t be alone on this path. The STF is here to support you every step of the way, during your early days in the classroom and throughout your entire career.

For the past 90 years, the STF has been dedicated to promoting the interests of teachers and striving for excellence in public education. As a member, you now belong to a community of over 13,500 teachers in PreK-12 schools across Saskatchewan. You will become a partner and respected leader in education.

As a member, you gain professional status along with a range of responsibilities, rights and benefits. We work as a collective, representing and advocating for teachers while also addressing your individual professional goals and needs. Every program, service and resource offered by the Federation is designed to enhance the well-being and success of both teachers and their students.
