Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation Bulletin: Special Edition Budget 2026

Government of Saskatchewan’s 2026 provincial budget includes a 2.6 percent increase to operational funding for school divisions, which does not keep pace with projected inflation or enrolment. Effectively, this amounts to a cut. As a result, per-student funding is expected to decline by $33 per student compared to last year.
